For confined spaces
For applications in limited space or in aggressive environments, fiber optical sensors are often the only solution. The fiber optical sensors in through-beam or diffuse-reflective operating principle, with glass or plastic fibers, are well suitable for solving demanding applications. Especially, they lend themselves ideally for detecting small objects, as in automated assembly or handling machines.
