Goals and Objectives

Jaxxen is the original representative for Elesta AG (Est 1952) in Bad Ragaz, Switzerland since the early 1980’s. Sales of Elesta relays and Optosensors peaked in 1993 when the sales volume reached almost seven million dollars. A large percentage of sales were for safety or “forcibly guided” relays and miniature circuit breakers as well. Jaxxen thus wishes to establish a close working relationship with other reliable European, American and Asian manufacturers of relays or other similar electronic and electrical components.

The goals are to successfully introduce the new product/s into the U.S. market through an aggressive sales and creative marketing campaign. Thereby establishing a solid base and respected product name for our principals.

Appointment and Management of Qualified Representatives

In the US, many products may benefit from “local representation” in the form of a dealer, stocking distributors or manufacturers, representative. Jaxxen identifies suitable companies or organizations, which are well established and reputable in their industry. Furthermore, Jaxxen ensures a professional relationship by requiring a signed contract that specifically outlines the territories and responsibilities of each party as well as sales expectations.

Product Importation

Jaxxen places orders on an ex-factory basis. Consolidated shipments and special customs brokerage arrangements guarantee the lowest possible importation costs. Close proximity to the John F. Kennedy Airport results in low local transport rates from the airport to Jaxxen. The customer has the convenience of only paying for transportation cost within the US.

Warranty Evaluation

Jaxxen’s technically experienced staff carefully reviews all “warranty returns” and tests as necessary. Only questionable matters are referred to the overseas principal thereby saving time and money by not returning non-warranty products to the factory.

Product Inventory

To provide optimum service and convenience, Jaxxen believes in stocking product and spare parts considering prior sales history and customer requirements for turn around time.

Agency Approvals

Jaxxen has extensive experience in working with Underwriters Laboratory (UL) both in Northbrook, Illinois, and Melville, New York. Product safety approvals have also been obtained through the Canadian Standard Association (CSA).

Export Activity

Many American companies are represented overseas through agents, or by both and American export agent and a European agent. Both arrangements are excessively costly in our opinion.

Jaxxen purchases materials, instruments and systems in the US for its principals for a nominal service fee and assists with all product exportation to the principal’s location.
